Vocabulary is part of knowing and using phonemes correctly These skills are taught in the general education curriculum with increasing difficulty at each grade level It is important that the child acquires basic language skills to get him on the road to literacy and academic success as he grows older. Encouraging and providing these kinds of language skills (at school/home, therapy, etc.) is important for literacy development. In this writing framework, our goal is to use poetry to convey meaning, meaning that what we are saying is important, and poetry supports it in a fun and entertaining way. 4. Students Write Their Version 1 – Pair students with a writing partner and guide them in choosing a topic related to the topic you are studying. Sometimes we write the topics on paper and the students write them from the kit.
Teach them to start by writing facts about their topic, not ideas, on the left side of the writing space Organize research materials
Ask students to read the items from their lists a few times, checking that they only include the facts. Never include words like beautiful, wonderful, scary, or ugly.

5. Co-created version 2 – Project your co-created version 1 and see if you can work on additional details – colors, contrasts, subtleties, etc. Add a couple of details and, if necessary, adjust the lines for rhythm and flow
6. Students write their version 2 – Challenge your students to clarify their story by adding a couple of comments and editing the text where necessary.
7. Share it! – Ask your students to share their work with a classmate other than their writing partner
Encourage your students to talk about the meaning of the words instead of emphasizing the words.
